Welcome to The Soviet Military Awards Page

This is one of my favorite reference sites when it comes to screwback orders of the Soviet Union if you want to classify your order of the Patriotic War, Order of the  Red Star or Order of Alexander Nevsky.

Odysseus © -- Soviet Screwback Orders

This is a profusely illustrated and highly educational reference site for the intermediate to advanced collector who wishes to learn more about Soviet Orders and Medals. Covering all types and variants of every Soviet Order and Medal.  It is in Russian but the photographs are top notch. Use an online website translator like Babelfish or PROMPT and you will be able to read most of this. The site loads a bit slowly but is well worth it.

 ОРДЕНА И МЕДАЛИ СССР

 SERVICES
FOR RESEARCHING YOUR SOVIET ORDERS AND MEDALS
You want to take your hobby one step further and find out about the person that won the award you are holding in your hands?
I highly recommend this research service, for those of you who want to find out the story behind your serial numbered Soviet orders and medals. Use the email address on the picture below. To get information regarding your request for research, just type "research information" as the subject of your email and give some basic information what Order or Medal is it (ie: Red Banner, Order of Glory, Order of Patriotic War, Red Star, Combat Bravery etc) then give the serial number, remember only serial numbered pieces can be researched:
